    Smile My New Hinde Mandolin!

    Hi!
I wanted to take the chance to show off my new mandolin since I’m pretty excited about it. If anyone is considering ordering a mandolin from Steve at Hinde Custom Instruments, I highly recommend it!! Working with Steve was a pleasure and I love my new mando. It has: German Spruce top, quilted maple back and sides, tortoise shell binding, Paua inlay, James tailpiece, and Waverly tuners. It plays and sounds amazing too!

    Looks amazing!

I'm happy for you and jealous at the same time.

I just noticed the top matches your hair color - cool!

    Play it in good health!

The top is an eye catcher, especially with the contrasting sides and back. The back is a beauty by itself. Enjoy!

I love seeing different coloured instruments and this one has a lot of personality. Nick Dumas of Special Consensus plays a Hinde and it sounds great!

Enjoy your new mandolin in good health

Thank you!! Nick did a mandolin workshop at a festival a few years ago and that’s where I first met him and learned about his Hinde. After that I decided I wanted one. I now also take lessons from Nick!
