Well it came in this morning. So I've been playing it mostly all day on and off, mainly on. It took very little time to get use to the wide nut, I could definitely tell a difference at first especially double stops, it took me a few times due the little extra width to get them clean.
Playability-wise it is night and day difference between what I came from (and no offence intended at all) but goodness the Pava plays like a dream, such a soft touch for notes and chords, the tone is so clean and clear with note clarity into the 17-19 fret. It has great note sustain. I can't even remember now but it seems to be a bit brighter than the one I had, the Eastman best I can remember may have been a bit woodier and darker sounding.
I had started a thread awhile back about "how much better does it get" and now I know and it is night and day difference in a real good way and don't get me wrong I really liked the way my Eastman sounded but this Pava plays fantastic and sounds wonderful and I believe it'll just keep getting better once we get to know each other
