I have been obsessed with their music of late. I highly recommend their Live at Fraser YouTube video as well.

The Loar LM600VS
At the risk of overstating the obvious- that Loar sounds absolutely great in Andrew's hands.
First and foremost, I absolutely love the music they make, and I'll watch every video and go to every show I can. That being said, while I agree the Loar does sound great, to my ears the Gilchrist matched their music better. That's an audience perspective and Andrew probably has a very different player perspective, which I totally understand.
You know, I watch this video and find myself more drawn to the music when it's just the two of them. Not that I think the band is anything but stellar, just that the key to their magic is the dynamic between those two. Andrew has certainly been writing for a band the past couple albums, and he's really good at it, but I miss the intimacy of the duo.
Emily isn't playing enough fiddle, lately, too...
