    Default my two mandolins

I am a noob on mandolins, but I have two mandolins that I believe are very good for new players... a Kentucky KM-150 and a Seagull S8. Both are good and very different at the same time...

An f-hole model and an oval-hole model . . . that's a great way to start and to explore your mandolin 'voice'.

Play, learn, enjoy and keep us posted.

I started on a KM-150 which was a fine instrument, but I believe the model is even better now. Enjoy!
