Hello everybody, I have become heavily addicted to building mandolins. My first was an IV F-5 kit, second was the Stew-Mac F-5 kit. Now I’m building from scratch. This mandolin has a compound radius fretboard, 1 1/8 nut, spruce top, flamed maple back, sides, and neck, torch and wire inlay, k and k internal, Custom James tailpiece. Built using the Adrien (Hogo) plans. #4,5,6 were built as a batch. #4 is the only one with color as of today. Hagerty mandolins on Facebook. I wanna say thank you to the mandolin cafe and all of its amazing members. Without you all I would be floundering in the world of mandolin construction. I plan on building as many mandolins as I can.
The mandolin pictured has just received its first coat of varnish.
