    Hi! Can anyone recommend a luthier for setup if a vintage Gibson mandolin?

    There are many, and I'm sure you'll get more suggestions.

    I would recommend Mamie Minch at Brooklyn Lutherie. She has refretted and set up two of my mandolins--an early Martin flat back and a 1950s Gibson electric. Excellent work in both cases!
