Default Strings for acoustic tenor conversion

I'm very sorry if this has been asked a lot. I've searched through several threads and didn't find my answer.
I just bought a cheap 3/4 sized Yamaha acoustic and am converting it to a tenor. I've shaved down the neck and am making a bone nut and bridge for it, and will install a tuner/pickup as well.
The scale in the middle of the angled bridge is 21.5 inches. I plan to tune cgda. What strings should I be looking for?
Gauges and your preferences please. Thanks!
It ain't gotta be perfect, as long as it's perfect enough!

When you say a cheap acoustic do you mean a steel six string or a nylon six string?

Anyway a standard set like 10 14 22w 32w would be a good place to start and in fact I find the slightly shorter scales are much easier to get a good balance as the A is not so close to its breaking strain.
A lot of cheap guitars are very over-braced but it does depend on the model.

Sorry. It's a Yamaha FG Jr 2 steel string guitar. Thank you for replying. Is there a brand or type of string that you prefer?

No not especially, I buy single guitar strings from my local music store.
He sells a few U.K. brands but I usually buy D'Addario strings.
