    Okay - well, kind of . . .

    Apparently before becoming the original and long-time voice of Donald Duck, Clarence Nash was a professional mandolin player. The short story is at about 2:05 in this video:

    Must be how he met Dawg...love the We Wish You a Merry Christmas they do on Acoustic Christmas

    Of course, this is pure speculation. I have absolutely no knowledge of how they met...
