Default Open Tuning blues for tenor guitar

    Hi,

I am quite a newbie regarding tenor guitar (but I play other instruments: mostly wind instruments, and a bit of uke). I am looking for resources on playing blues with open tuning (tutorials, videos, books...). I have the feeling that I always to the same thing... and it is not a very interesting thing...

Thanks in advance if you can point me to some interesting stuffs to help me

    Kind regards,
    pim.

I don’t think that open tunings are particularly popular so you are not going to find a huge amount of help,I did see this https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/t...n-tenor-guitar

Thanks for your answer. I thought it was a popular kind of tuning.

Well I am sure some folk love that style of tuning, it is just that this forum seems to attract the more traditional 5ths tuning like CGDA or GDAE. Facebook has a few active tenor guitar pages where ukulele style tunings are more popular (plus plenty of argumentative people too) .
I think I remember seeing YouTube videos with a guy using open G and a claw hammer method with a ukulele.
