    How/where did you attach the strap at the bottom?

    The strap I have is very small and I was able to pull it thru the small "slot" in the tailpiece. A piece of rawhide would probably work there as well.

    That's sure an interesting build. Some temptation to get stupid and build a kit myself... maybe. But first, I'll finish my basement, which I'm in process of doing now.
