    Default Headstock Scroll repair?

Does anyone know of a luthier who can fix it without just gluing it back on and being noticeable?

Almost every luthier I know is noticeable, but agree with John H that Bill B is especially noticeable.

Yeah …. a new overlay will make the repair pretty and invisible from the front. You are not the first nor will you be the last to have this happen. I expect the repair will be pricey. Keep us posted. R/

No need for a new overlay. Any competent repair person can glue the scroll and touch up the finish to make the repair look good. The trick is knowing who is competent and who is not. (I'm re-repairing a guitar finish touch up right now. The owner took it to his local music store and the repair person did not do a good job.)
Surely there is someone competent in Nashville, but I don't know who is working there these days.

I just put a yellow sticky over my break with a bad scroll drawing. Quite the conversation starter...

Here is a good description of a headstock repair on a Mandolin by Frank Ford of Gryphon Guitars.
