Have lyrics, looking for band/song & maytbe album

New member, first time post..hope I'm in the correct category.

I host a bluegrass show on public radio station and this tune...probably from the 70's has been rattling around in my head but I cannot for the life of me remember who did it. These lyrics might not be 100% correct but should be close.

"Well look awayyyyy Dixie, steady as she goes, on the way down to the gulf of Mexico"

I saw the Randy Graham, Terry Baucom, Jimmy Henley, Doyle do that live a couple of times! That was a “Goat Peas to,Gasoline band!
Now, I feel old!
That’s a great way to find some folks who can really help you build some knowledge for the show! There is an old “Old Homestead” label record out ther that features “The Rimfire Ramblers” which very well have made me spend almost fifty years having some fine with this style of music!
