    Default Jesse McReynolds at 90

A couple photos from his FB feed of the party thrown for him at the Opry. I thought the Cafe types might enjoy seeing this cake: a three-point w ff-holes!

Well, the baker won’t be getting a “Cease and Desist” for the cake, the evidence will be consumed!

    And only six strings?

    Happy Birthday, Jesse!
Play that which you feel is groovy, get down with your bad self, and shake your money maker if it makes sense for you to do so.

He's 90? Well then, the wife and I saw him play on the Ryman stage at 87 years old in July of 2016. Wondered how old he was. He sounded very good for being 87 years young that night. He was with Del and Dawg. Ronnie McCoury was also there that evening. A true overload of Mandolin playing.
