Default Bridge for a solid body mandola

I want to do the Squier Mini Strat mandola conversion. I have done a couple of tenor guitar (four string) conversions, but now I want a mandola (eight string). The only hitch in my plan right now is a proper bridge. Moongazer used to sell a nice looking bridge for this, has anyone found another source?

I stumbled on this the other day.

Maybe what you need is here?

I believe Moongazer sold bridges from Andrew Jerman, and he now sells them direct. Here's the page: http://www.crossroadswood.com/Accessories.html

That is perfect! I guess my searches didn't work because I was calling it a bridge instead of a tailpiece.

    Thanks

I'm not trying to promote myself, but there is a reason that bridge is listed on ebay for $6.96. I sell a lot of bridges that are going towards replacing those on mandobirds. Eastwood switched from that design because they got so many complaints. Also, I don't know that the intonation on those will work for a mandola. You really need individual string intonation. All that aside, I think I have a couple of those in my parts bin from when I was developing the upgrade. I'd be happy to send one to you for the cost of shipping. I am currently out of stock on the eight string bridge but plan on doing some in the next couple weeks. If you want to have a custom string spacing for mandola made then I could easily accommodate that at no extra charge. If you want one, then please contact me through my website.

Thanks Andrew, I now have your site bookmarked. I have already ordered the cheapy's so I will see how they work out. I am not that good of a player so they may workout for me
