    Default Flatwounds on Eastman OM?

Just wondering if anyone has tried flatwound strings on the Eastman MDO-305? Am currently using mandola strings, which helps with power, but wouldn't mind a slightly different sound. Maybe not possible with the nature of the instrument. Really like flatwounds on my Collings MT.

Still - are there any good suggestions? Don't really want to buy some jazz guitar strings and try to pop the ball ends out.

    Thanks.
