    Default Wood sources in Ireland

Does anyone know of good tonewood suppliers in Ireland anywhere?

If the endpin is tapered, then the hold needs to also be the same taper. Since you want the endpin to fit just so, you need a reamer for the taper, or be able to taper the peg by little amounts so it will fit as it should. If you are screwing and endpin in, how you do any hole for a screw.

Hi Brian, I don't know anything about tonewood suppliers in Ireland. You could ask Paul Doyle in Galway.

I'm getting on a plane in a few hours, and Monday morning I'll be driving from Dublin to County Waterford. I'll probably drive right by you!

Found some bunks of acer pseudoplatinus at Sheehans in Tipperary once upon a time, nothing figured, so I passed. Was hoping to make a mando from spruce and maple that grew in Ireland....
