    Default The Mandolin Project Book

Got this a few weeks ago and have now read through it. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks Graham McDonald, the history beginning was cool!

I second that. A really useful book. Thanks Graham, you've done us a real service.

Thank yo for the kind words. It is always good to hear the books have been useful. There is a book on ukulele building just about ready to go and that should be available later this year. Written in the same way with various methodologies.

    Cheers

I don't really have any desire to build a uke but it might be a good read anyway! This book I found entertaining and interesting.

I didn't either until some friends asked me to build one for their niece and I found there was very little written information available. I discovered they are rather fun to build so another book on ukuleles was started.

The introductory history chapter in The Mandolin Project grew into another book on the history of the mandolin which ended distracting me for over six years. The books keep me busy and are a great excuse to travel and talk to people.

    Cheers

All of Graham's books are great! I'll definitely get the ukulele book when it comes out.
