    Default need help identifying this mandolin

    I have this mandolin that was made in a foreign country. need help in identifying where this was made and any other information about this instrument would be helpful.

    It appears to be Russian.

    I just had a Russian co-worker translate it.

    Manufactured in the city of Lvov (it's in Ukraine)

    National Musical Instrument.

    Similar instruments are on eBay weekly and are not highly desirable.

    Thanks so much for the info.....this plays beautifully and do not want to sell but just wanted to know as much as possible.
