    Default Kevin O'Brien mandolin

I recently saw the wonderful Irish duo "Ye Vagabonds" in concert, and was taken with the mandolin being played, a very mellow, sweet instrument, expertly played by Brian and Diarmuid McGloinn in the duo. Just found this wee demo, it's sweet. I think its sinker redwood soundboard and Irish bog oak body, if my memory serves me right.

Just love this sound and their excellent approach.

The Dekavalas bouzouki sounds great as well! Beautifully singing and playing here, a classic!

Well Steve, I can heartily recommend their latest cd "The Hare's Lament", which I haven't stopped playing since I got it! Superb.
