    Default Bruno Royal Artist/ Kent Mandola

    There is an ad in the classifieds right now for a Kent 8 string long scale mando/mandola
    ....basically the same instrument as my Bruno Royal Artist. I cut my headstock down and turned it into a 4string. This one would be a bit harder to do the same because of the headstock inlay. If you are looking for an electric mandola....go there if the neck is straight. I have no interest in that particular sale. Just a heads up.

    Well, no, the Bruno Royal Artist and the Kent 744 are not the same instrument. (I do, however, have a photo of an instrument branded "Kent" that is identical to the Royal Artist.)
