    Sorry for your loss Bob - I've felt that pain myself. I also work with dogs (dog trainer) for a living so on a daily basis see what a huge place they have in people's lives, not to mention my own.

    My sincere condolences for your loss, Bob. A pet’s passing is a singular grief - I’ve lost several in my years. It’s always hard. As with the passing of other loved ones, time, memories, and the joy you received - and caring you gave - during Sally’s life will slowly transform your pain into a scar you’ll be able to bear. May you find solace now in the support and understanding of your loved ones.
