In the pick stash, came across this. Fairly unusual GG, with well-defined corners and a thinner feel than the standard. Anyone else seen this?

That's exactly what I was going to say. I just bought 10 of those Gilchrist picks (actually, it was 11 - one was glued to the outside of the envelope, I imagine for inventory ID). 346 shape and size, no bevel, slightly thinner than my usual 1.5mm, grained ivoroid material. I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I dig these picks. They haven't supplanted the EML PEEK, but are now solidly in the 2nd place slot. And with 11 in hand (at something over $3 per, with shipping and handling from Australia), I've felt compelled to give them away to friends and spread the word.

I really like these picks, but they do require a little maintenance and wear fairly quickly.
I just received two of the Gilchrist picks from Carter's. Great people to deal with. I like the pick a lot. It fits tone wise right between a Blue Chip 55 and a Primetone. The Blue Chip is a bit brighter. The Primetone a bit duller. It's the best fit for my needs.
I bought a Gilchrist pick from an eBay seller a few months ago as a novelty item (wanna see the Gilchrist I got for less than $10k?). I was serioulsly surprised with it. I really like it; like meado said, it's right up there with my Blue Chip. A week ago, I ordered a supply of them from Steve Gilchrist's website.
