    That surprised me.

Was his `perfomance' a bit more over the top than usual, or am I used to him toning it down for the Live from Here video stream?

I just want to know what material the jumpsuit is made from so I can get one, too. Assume it minimizes friction while polishing the emando, allowing for maximum speed

Lol, I liked it. That bass player has got funk for days!

He's moving that way because he's the only one whose instrument is not constrained by a mic stand (Heck, even the bass drum is constrained by two concrete blocks to keep it from being kicked over)! In the prophetical words of the legendary Serge A. Storms: "Instant karma isn't gonna get you but the rhythm will."
Play that which you feel is groovy, get down with your bad self, and shake your money maker if it makes sense for you to do so.

Not exactly my cup of tea but very cool all the same, hey when Chris is into it, he fully embraces what he is doing.

I'm sorry, but I just cant stomach Thile anymore. I wish he would have stuck to the traditional sound of his first two albums.

Yeah, good advice for all of us: Keep doing whatever you were doing at age 13.
Emando.com: More than you wanted to know about electric mandolins.
