    Default LR Baggs for Mandocello

I am not sure how many have tried this, or are looking for a way to amplify their mandocello, but I have been working with an LR Baggs Lyric for about three months in my Eastman MC, and, after dialing most of the treble out, I must say the sound is pretty darn good I had been using an AT condenser mic external, and it wasn't bad, but the Baggs is much simpler to use, more feedback-resistant, and sounds as good.

Baggs has made good stuff since the 80's.

Oh, I agree. But something designed primarily for guitars doesn't necessarily translate well to an arch-top MC. Though. yeah. they aren't really all that different. The tech who installed it took his time and tried a couple of different places for the mic.
