Gibson banjo mandolin

Is this approximately from the 1920s ?

Yes. Most likely mid to late 20's.

The tuners would suggest post c.1923. Does it have a number anywhere?

No number, just a Gibson Kalamazoo label

There is probably a number “somewhere” but, finding it might require disassembly to see the inside of the heel, BUT, that’s not always true either, it’s a Gibson after all and there are no absolutes from Parsons street! I have one probably not too distant, this was made by my wife’s great, great uncle for his wife while he was at the company in 1918.
I need to got it out and do some set up, fresh strings, etc.
