Default New video of the French lefthander who makes his mandolins

Hello, Mandolinist friends. In France, the winter was long and I tried to play the Czardas § Hard hard, say we in our country! The goal is mainly to make you listen to the sound of the mandolin that I made a few years ago, not in carbon, as I usually do, but with real wood violin. I had posted a video of the making. She must be somewhere in the forum .
As you always have the good habit, give your opinion on it.
The recording was simply done with a small portable digital recorder (Tascam DR08) in the kitchen of our apartment. I worked a little video part, but the sound is native, without any correction.
    Thank you for your comments!

that's very impressive -- lots of sustain, lots of bell in the tones.

Also very happy to see you again. It is true that I had become a little shy for a few months. But the love of the mandolin is much stronger than anything and overcomes the bad things of existence ...

Thanks for the compliments about the sound I'm really proud that you appreciate this
It is not for you that I will learn that the sound is always the big unknown when you build a musical instrument .. For this mandolin, I recognize, with great humility, that the result was well beyond all my expectations. I am convinced that the double chamber system is very important.
Rest assured, in my various constructions, I also did a lot of "stuff" that does not sound good at all ...

That is a very nice rendering of a beautiful tune I would not even attempt, Jean-Luc. Your mandolin sounds very impressive and distinctive, extremely resonant, somewhat like a cymbalon or hammer dulcimer.
