Hi,
Thanks for posting this. It was a great listen.
Regards
I love Tony's music. It was interesting to listen to this conversation, but he sounds a little cranky
Everybody over the age of 60 gets a little cranky now and then....(IMHO)
John A. Karsemeyer
He is such an interesting and unique cat.
I don't believe (when he was in his prime) that any other human being (musician) has ever had more power and technique under his command, and yet because of the style of music that he played, and the venues where it was attended, he not only did not have an appropriate dressing room and facilities, but not even a private bathroom. Imagine how that would have gone over with most other "Maestros".

And Paris never was my kinda town

Good stuff. Who is the guy interviewing Tony?
John A. Karsemeyer

Tony was right on the money on the subject of dynamics . . .
Clark Beavans
his musical proficiency is matched only by his humanity... what a beautiful cat...
many thanks for this thread!
Thanks for the link to an interesting and especially honest interview. Definitely worth the time to list to.
I was watching this and getting off on it and then looked and realized that Jan (the fellow that interviewed Tony) had just posted it 79 minutes before. His intro about Tony's Volume I at the top is worth reading.
