Anyone have an opportunity to play this instrument at Carters? I'm interested in this mandolin but can't make the trip right now.

I haven’t played this particular mandolin, but I have played a Pava Pro A style at IBMA. It was outstanding in every way. The fit and finish was excellent, and the tone was just awesome. I thought I had conquered MAS when I bought my ‘07 Sumi F5 Deluxe, but after playing the Pava at IBMA, I can’t get the Pava out of my mind. Good luck.

I believe I played that one. It is a good sounding mando. To my ears it was similar to the Collings MF’s, but I didn’t play it in the soundproofed rooms, so there was a lot of background noise. The Northfield artist series there stole the show for me.
