Please give us a review when you've tried them on your mandolin. What's the best pick to go with them?

I've always thought of the mandolin as a percussive instrument but this is ridiculous, lol!

    Oh dear.

(Next new thread: "NEW MEMBER: How do I put the strings on this mandolin?"

I've got an old mandolin - it's pretty worthless - some idiot called Lloyd something scribbled on the inside, and it's from 1923, so it's old. But I've bought these strings and want to put them on - I've tried hammering nails in it, and superglue, but it won't make a nice sound? Should I chop it up for firewood?)

What a dope - doesn't the eBay seller know banjo strings when he sees them?

Never mind about the pick. My luthier suggested one of these handmade ones.
