    Default Vintage Bowlback Logo

A well known drug lord's daughter is launching a new clothing line. That is what it is and needs no further discussion. What I'm looking at is one of the logo's they are using for that brand name. It looks like a label that I have seen on some old bowlback mandolins. Is this just my brain seeing a similarity or does anyone actually know if that was a label that was used?

Distant cousin to the Elias Howe logo on Howe-Orme instruments...?

May not be what you're recalling, though.

That's pretty close actually. Probably the one stuck in my head. The Oscar Schmidt was similar but that one has most of the elements. I'm going to guess that the graphic artist that designed that has at least seen the Howe label.
