I'm a bluegrass banjo player at heart. 5 string mostly, trad grass, and all its other worldly extensions...lately tenor though...as in years..guitar, banjo.....I love the fifths. Picked up an old 6 last year, and it's been a journey getting her to sing again. Warped/cracked neck....big time..but it has sipped at the fountain. Hope you like the TB sound, TG friends.

"constraints of bluegrass".....is very poorly worded.....Bluegrass will set you free my friends

From the Jacob interview......constraints of bluegrass....

This guy is a mandolinist extraordinaire......great music...I Love it

But there are no Bluegrass constraints , only expansion.....the way it should be

Both are great instruments. I played the tenor banjo for years and now I will have some new fun with a new sounding 4 string instrument.
