    I have always loved Perlman - and this is great. Thanks for sharing!

    p.s. - For those who might be interested; The video that popped-up on YouTube right after this one, was of Perlman playing the Star-Spangled Banner at a Mets game . . . definitely worth watching.

    way cool! rippin' on the ole bill cheatham, who even knew? I always thought John Denver's music was sappy growin up, but to see him in old videos, man that guy could play!

    I too thought he was "too commercial" back in the day but I did know he could play a mean guitar -- but no idea he did mandolin.

    Does anyone know what kind of a mandolin he had there -- those guys all look so young!
