It changes every day - this could be a long thread. . . . .

Right now, I'm working on "Fat Meat and Dumplings", Weave and Way and Katy Hill. I really enjoy playing Dubuque, Hawks and Eagles, Chinese Breakdown and Durang's Hornpipe too. And, I'm trying to get the folks that I play with to learn Rye Straw and Sally in the Garden. Tonight I play with a monthly Old-Time group (in Richmond, Virginia if you can join) and tomorrow, I may have some different tunes to work on. . . .

My fave real oldie is 'Smoky Mountain Schottische'; others are 'Heel and Toe Polka', 'Rickett's' and 'Durang's' hornpipes.

Recently I've been getting together with a fiddler, banjo player, and guitarist to play old-time, and slowly learning various new and arcane tunes.

    Some new favorites:
    Spotted Pony
    Campbell's Farewell to Red Gap
    Fine Times at Our House
    Snowdrop
Fly Around Pretty Little Miss (what she did right before she jumped in the well)
    Hangman's Reel

    More familiar favorites:
    Washington's March
    Winder Slide
    Twin Sisters
    Big Sciota

No end to the various ways people play these tunes.

    Fatt-dad, I thought you'd given up tab.

The list of favorites is way too long to post...

Here are the ones I've recently learned and enjoy playing:

    Dixie Breakdown
The World is Waiting for the Sun to Shine

I love this medley from the "Songs from the Mountain" CD. I'm learning it on fiddle but also practice it on mandolin:

    Mountain Air/Washington's March/Bonapart's Retreat

    Next up: Mexican Stomp

I found a cool old tune on Jim Moss's Frank Wakefield site. It's called "Cruel Willie." Sounds great on both mando and fiddle.

I'm also learning "Brown County Breakdown" by Big Mon.
