Graham, I love it! The blackwood looks amazing!
It was as nice a piece of Blackwood as I have and thank you all for the kind words. Hopefully the new owner (not sure if he is a member here) will record something and it will likely appear on the Facebook mandolin group feed.
Current project is a five course mandocello which looks like fun, but I am not looking forward to carving a Blackwood back for that one.
