Laidback blues mandolin in Thailand
Here is a video of BABY PLEASE DON'T GO filmed by Cafe member Ron McMillan in Chiang Mai, Thailand in January. Very laidback version that sometimes changed form depending on our mood. I was playing with ace German fingerpicker Willie Salomon at the lovely venue Thapae East. The blues scene in Thailand is vibrant in various areas, but I have still never run across more than one other blues mandolinist traveling there to visit. Get over there and meet some great musicians! Soon going back home to Sweden but enjoying another 11 days of playing blues here in Bangkok.
