Default If you lost your BlueChip pick at the Denver festival this week

    Hi all:

I found a BlueChip pick at the Midwinter Festival in Denver this weekend. If you claim it as yours, send me a PM with the kind of pick and what is on the back side of it, and I'll send it to you.

Otherwise.....well, I'm starting to get used to it.

    Cheers,
    Bill

My hat is off to you, Bill, for posting this. You are truly a good person. On the one hand, I hope you find the owner. On the other, I hope you get to keep it!

OK I'll try for a Jazz LG35 with nothing on the back?

I wasn't actually in Denver but when you lose a pick who knows where it will end up!

I agree, seriously good Juju is in your house!
It’s not mine, I trust the rightful owner shows for you.

Hah hah, funny. Nice random stab at it though. Thankfully it's not yours or I'd be out like two stamps. I'll warn my daughter who just moved to London to beware of pick scammers.

I received a STP 40 as a Valentine's gift. I think I am in love...with the pick. The sender isn't so bad either.

I went all Saturday night thinking I had lost mine but it was on the desk under a business card.

Yes, very magnanimous of the OP. However, think of the guilt he would harbor playing someone else's pick with their name/phrase on the back of it. Everytime he used it, he would be reminded of 'the other one'.

I lost one but I'm on the east coast. Was it a CT 55? Damn that pick must have hitch-hiked cross country again!
No matter where I go, there I am...Unless I'm running a little late.

How awfully kind and classy of you, Bill. You will be rewarded. Not in this life, but someday. (JK)

Interestingly, I just came from Costco, and upon leaving the check stand realized that they failed to charge me for two nice bottles of red wine. Went back and made it right. I never stole liquor as a kid, and don't wanna start now.

    Thanks Again, Bill,

Hope it's ok to hijack my own thread, but here goes.

I'd heard of your mandolins Jim, but had never heard one before. Don't know if you remember, but we were sitting across from each other in a small circle at one point there in Denver. I think I've got a pretty good mando, but yours really got my attention. A beautiful instrument that sounded really, really good (with looks to match).

It was a treat to see it and hear you play it.

Thanks, Bill. You should have been there when Bill McKay or Mike Madan played it. Guys with great chops but who also really dig in.
