    Default “Mineola Rag”

    I tried fading this tune out at the end but that didn’t work too well.
    That’s why I don’t work for Ken Burns.....

    I’m sorry, I can’t read music. I learned it by ear. I slowed down some YouTube videos
    and played them over and over until the tunewas pounded into my head.

    Great tune, Lappy. One of my favorites.

    Interesting fact about this tune: the earliest recorded version by the East Texas Serenaders was played in Eb. For some reasons this band loved the flat keys. Most of us mortals play it in D which makes a lot more sense to me. Also ETS was among the very few old time string bands that used a cello.

    Nice tune and good picking. I like the cool Kay Venetian vibe in the appearance of that mandolin, too.
