    Default Replacing Golden Age tuners

    I would like to try another tuner on an A style does anyone know what will replace GoldenAge the easiest
    Schaller,Grover’s,Rubners??

    They will all be about the same in terms of ease.
    I like the Rubners.

    They should all fit but you’ll almost certainly have to fill and re-drill the screw holes. It’s also possible that the GAs will leave some ghosing on the back of the headstock and, if this bothers you, you’ll need to work out which of the replacements is likely to cover it up.

    Collings sent me some Grovers to replace the (horrible) Golden Ages my MT came with. It's like night and day in quality. And the dropped right in.
