    Default Looking for info on electric mandolin

    Got this as from a family member but there is no brand name or model number on it anywhere. Was hoping someone had any information on it and its value

    It looks pretty generic to me, it could have been made anywhere in the world as Fender designs are ubiquitous. It's a bolt-on neck so try taking the neck off to see if there any marks in the neck pocket or neck heal. Just a thought...Nice little axe BTW.

    Most likely a MORTone if it was made in the US. Basically a cheap guitar with added tuners and custom nut and bridge. Not high-end. More of an octave mandolin or mandola than a mandolin. https://reverb.com/brand/mortone

    That looks a lot like my octave strat. But I am no help in who made it when I bought mine it was just called custom octave mandolin no maker
