Roo hide is very nice. Just be careful with it after it gets old(like 15-20 yrs). I almost dropped a mando when mine broke near the pin.
i like the old Webb mandolin straps. The anchor points on them are nylon. and do not come off easily.
Is it a Roo strap that Andrew has on his Gilchrist in the Live from here videos that were just posted here?

I have a Washburn F body and the strap shown is exactly what I am using. I did put a couple of new holes in it for the rear peg as some times I like it over the shoulder and sometimes I like it over my neck like a guitar strap. I did have to modify the hole diameter a little to fit over the peg on mine as it has a jack on it for the electric pickup.
