Default 'Mandolin Day' in Chester (UK) 6/4/18

    Hello!

After the success of the last 2 years, I'm running another 'Mandolin Day with Mike Giverin' just outside of Chester on Saturday 6th April. We had two great days last year (the first one sold out so we had to run a backup) with 25 mandolin players all spending the day together in a little village hall, talking technique and enjoying a day spent playing the mandolin with other like minded people.

It’s £32.03 for the day, 10:30 till 16:30 with lunch, drinks & moral support included in the ticket price ... the last two years have sold out pretty quickly and we expect this one to as well.

Last year we looked at Time Signatures and the mandolin. This year will be split into 4 workshops, with the morning sessions looking at Double Stops and Fiddle Tune accompaniment and the afternoon looking at playing the mandolin in a group and then an open session for any questions/issues from attendees (or another workshop from me if no one has any questions).

Full details & tickets can be found on this site:

If you're thinking "who the h*ll is this guy?" ... I wouldn't blame you ... but you can see videos of my bands at these websites:

I also run an online mandolin teaching website at www.mandomike.com and I was featured on the Mandolin Mondays series back in November here: https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/e...t-Mike-Giverin

Hi Mike - I've got to ask - why the extra 3 pence?

That is Eventbrite adding their costs. I'm charging £30 for the day to cover hall costs/food and my costs ... then Eventbrite are adding £2.03 processing fee to each ticket order.
I didn't realise this was their charge in advance and may have opted for a fee of £29.97 so the final amount people paid was a much more please £32.00
