    Saw the Jacob Joliff band live at Wintergrass last year. I'd never heard of them before and they (in particular Jacob's mandolin playing) blew me away.

    You're correct! I started a thread a while back about all these great solo mandolin albums.

    "Stumbling Distance (the 376 Years)" is my favorite track -- mostly because it grooves hard without being predictable. "Expedition in Lunel" has a nice twist on a Dawg / Grappelli feel.

    And for what it's worth, I don't hate the artwork If you follow him on Instagram or Facebook, he seems to have a soft spot for ironically hideous concert posters!

    I agree. I saw him open for the Traveling Mcourys and sit in with them he’s incredible.
