Must be something to that... Another sighting in a new (2022) Disney series "Hamster and Gretel", episode "Saturday Homecoming Fever" - zoomed in screenshot:

Suspiciously, there's a concertina there too.

An episode from that 50 year old TV show THE WILD WILD WEST had the villain...I think his name was Loveless... Playing the mandolin and singing "On Top of Old Smokey.".

I have no idea how to find that!

On the CBS Morning Show this morning, the band at the end was "The Tallest Man On Earth" featuring front man Kristian Matsson playing a "The Loar" F-5 mandolin.

They have not made the video available yet.

    They have now.

Dang! I always tune in, even if I've never heard of the performer(s), because you never know. I've learned about some pretty cool people this way, and confirmed what I've heard or thought, as well. I didn't today because, following some bad advice, I'd swapped out my old cable box for a new one, and while that didn't fix the problem, it created a new one. I've lost the ability to tape off the TV with my VCR, as the old box did not have the anti-piracy technology that goes back to the 80s. Now I can't even watch broadcast channels without video distortion, unless I take the VCR out of the loop. So along with a massive case of insomnia overnight, I turned off my alarm and slept through it. Oh well! Another gripe to add to the list when the tech comes by Monday. I'll about guarantee he'll have been born after Macrovision was introduced and won't know anything about it. Might just be the end of an era for me.
