Just heard from a buddy that John Sullivan built 2 solid body electric mandolins. One was flame maple, intended for Sam Bush.
Anybody ever heard of these instruments? Have any pictures or further descriptions if true?
Thanks

And Bill - some references to the electrics in this thread started after John's passing https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/t...-john-sullivan

I did see two threads relating to that after a Google search, but only finished one thread. I was curious as to the electrics, scale length, etc.
I'll search a little more.
thanks

Did some searching and I see one picture of a solid body, F style, with what appears to be both a magnetic pickup and a bridge mounted piezo. Anybody who heard that wish to comment?
