    Question Tremolo question

    Hi,
I occasionally try to practice tremolo alongside other exercises.
I noticed it goes quite a bit better when I rest my forearm against the mandolin (somewhere behind the bridge towards the edge) and wiggle my wrist.

I wanted to check with you whether this is ok. Is the motion supposed to mostly involve the wrist or should it be the whole forearm? If the latter, I'm probably doing it wrong.

    Thanks!

    It's all in the wrist.
Planting your forearm on the rim is helpful, but not everyone does.
Sounds like you're on the right track.
