The Travellers Sid Dolgay mando-cello

The Travellers were somewhere in the background of my music awareness growing up, school and public radio promoting Canadiana.

Every so often I've given momentary consideration to one of their albums at thrift store visits.

I was not aware that one of the members played mandocello. When I saw the album cover photo with Mr Dolgay playing a K-1, well it came home.

The net says that in their early days this was the only instrumental accompaniment to the vocals.

Does anyone know if there are recordings prior to the addition of bass and banjo?
