Lester Flatts mandolin playing?

Lester Flatt played mandolin with Charlie Monroe in the 1930s. From what older bluegrass enthusiasts have told me, he was around the same skill level as Curley Seckler taking occasional simple leads. anyone else know about lester and his mandolin playing?
