Canzona 9 - La Monteverde by Tarquinio Merula (1615)

I have now got around to buying a hardware multitrack recorder, so this (above) is my 'Rough Rendition' of the Canzona recorded on 4 tracks using mandolin and 8ve mandola.

I transcribed, transposed and modified an arrangement for guitars by A Hoger which I scored for 2 mandolins, 8ve mandola and guitar, though the two lower parts are suitable for either guitar or 8ve mandola.

It is fairly straightforward to play, though some of the timings and accidentals need careful observation (as may be obvious from my mistakes !)
