Question John Reischman lead intro to what are they doing in heaven today

I've been practicing this song and intro on the mandolin. I have listened to the intro a thousand times and I can't get all of it I need some help from some more experienced mandolin players. I'm a beginner and have been playing guitar for about 20 years (still not very good). I started playing mandolin about one year ago and fell in love with it. Any help with song would be greatly appreciated.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Josh, not familiar with this tune but I’ll bet John would help you out if you contact him at his website. Good luck!

    Howdy Josh,

    That's a beautiful tune . . . . this should be in the ballpark.

It's a beautiful song. It has been recorded by several different artist and groups. I like John and the Jaybirds version the best. Especially the mandolin intro

Hey Josh . . . noticed a little error there, at the last phrase on the first line . . . the high B note on the E string
