However you celebrate, I hope you all have a perfect day.
After that huge meal, I'm gonna drag out "Gracie" and play a little.
Have a perfect day everyone.

We got a face time call from the grandsons who will be coming over this afternoon. They needed to see the pies.

In this time of polarization and threats to democracy, I am grateful that liberals and conservatives alike can still get together and make wonderful music.
A little slice of turkey at the Muller house on a frigid Thanksgiving. Health, happiness and peace please.
The grandkids and two of our sons and families - - the third is out of town -- are going to be here soon. I am a very grateful guy. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, my friends!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Some friends and I play music for a turkey dinner at a church in an less than wealthy part of town. This is an annual event. There were a couple hundred folks there, but it never quite gets totally full. We played the whole two hours. A very appreciative audience. This is our third year playing this. Its been wonderful for me, my wife passed away almost 4 years ago and my parents passed away two years before her. I guess my brothers and sister all assumed I was invited somewhere else, so I was all alone. So playing music for these folks was medicine for me and they fed us and it made my day much better during a tough time. I really enjoy it and today, afterwards ny nephew invited me over, so thats good. Anyway...
Some guy asked us to play Rocky Top. So, I pulled it up on the iPad to get all the words and in a few mins we were playing it. Well, afterwards, on the way out, he saw me and asked why we never played Rocky Top. I said we did play it and that in fact, I was the one that sang it! He looked at me and said it must have been while he was outside smoking. 😅 Maybe next year, huh? 🙄

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for family, friends, a job that allows me to support my lifestyle, my animals, music in my life, and (relatively) good health. Delivered Thanksgiving dinners to shut-ins and poor and elderly in our city earlier today, and am now playing on my computer, mandolin later.
Picked a little with my buddy on electric banjo, watched the Redskins lose, and ate gluten free stuffing... lovely day!
Happy Thanksgiving!
